FINALLY! This is something I have been stumped about forever...

After years of research and numerous times hearing my wife say, "Well if you love RoboCop so much, why dont you marry him?" Well Honey, I don't LOVE RoboCop, I just idolize him.
And now, life and all its mysteries seem so simple.  Thank you RoboCop!

GEAR CHECK IN

Mom, have you seen my hip pads?
Gear check-in begins tomorrow at 2:50 in the back gym.  Monday will be seniors only, unless you have previously made special arrangements with me.  Gear is to be washed, organized and ready to be completely turned in, any piece of equipment, from shoulder pads down to knee pads that are not turned in, you will be billed for, the same goes for Jerseys, whether they are varsity/jv jersey or Frosh.  These are very expensive and complicated to reorder, so MAKE SURE you have your washed.
Gear Return Schedule:
Monday- Seniors
Tuesday- JR and SO
Weds- Frosh
Thurs- Thursday will be held as a make-up day if you were not able to be there on your assigned day.

After Thursdays turn in is closed, all gear not turned in will be considered late and/or lost and we will send the front office the bill.

I hate to be such a stickler about this, but it costs our program thousands of dollars a year to replace what is lost and NEVER returned.
Lastly, to be noted, if you are a Junior, Soph, or Frosh... If you have not turned in a piece of equipment for the 2011 season, you will not be issued that equipment for next season until it is found or replaced.

Thanks, See you all Soon.
Weight Room is open 5 days a week after school.  Get in there, if you did not see that we were under prepared this season, then you need to know now and get in there and be ready to come back with a bang next year.

Josey Wales: Now remember, when things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean. I mean plumb, mad-dog mean. 'Cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live nor win. That's just the way it is.

Wednesday we will begin with film again and be on the field following film and practice until 5:45

Judge Memorial Game and Other Things...

First and foremost, we go into a game this week, that with a win, means a possible # 2 seeding for playoffs and with any luck from other games (Go Judge! Beat Juan Diego) a possible share of the Region X Championship again.  But we have to win our next two games one at a time.  Playing Judge Memorial at home for senior night this week is the BIGGEST GAME OF YOU LIFE THIS WEEK.  We need to start fast, win every play, snap to whistle, pick up our tempo and spirits and and play fast all game, using our speed to move the ball and stop a high-powered judge offense and most of all FINISH STRONG.
Coach Vincent spoke to the team at saturdays meeting about being able to cover the man to your left with your shield.  Always look out for your teammates, on and off the field.
In other news, we will be taking our team over to Silver Mountain Spa this saturday after film, to put up the dome.  This is a great opportunity for us to get out and do something for our community.  It should only take a couple hours and pizza and smoothies will be provided.  We did it in record time last year, so we can do it again.  Thanks to Stanton Jones, Silver Mountain and PCTV for all their support!  And I think Tracy Jordan said it best when he said
"Live Every Week like it's Shark Week"

WIN THE DAY! BEAT JUDGE...
